Have you already seen the first Fashion Week outfit? If not, make sure to check it out and come back right afterwards to this post to get all the details about my second Fashion Week outfit. 😉 I actually didn’t plan on sharing all the outfits in chronological order, but the outfit I was sharing yesterday actually was my first look and the one I am sharing today is the outfit I was wearing on day two.

This outfit might not look like a Fashion Week outfit and to be honest, it is something I would wear on a daily basis no matter if it’s Fashion Week or if I am spending the day at the office. But as I mentioned yesterday, this Berlin Fashion Week was all about comfort, and I didn’t care a lot about my looks and that they look super fashionable.

Keeping it simple with a white dress with polka-dots on Berlin Fashion Week day two

The second day of Berlin Fashion Week was a busy one, and I missed most all the shows I was accredited for and only made it to the blogger and seeding events. As I knew, that I probably wouldn’t make it to all the shows of the day, I opted for a comfortable outfit I could comfortably wear all day long without feeling uncomfortable. I ended up wearing a white dress with polka-dots as well as black sandals and my black Gucci bag.

It is a simple outfit, but all the details make it look everything but dull. I do like the cut of the dress a lot as well as the polka-dots. It is one of those pieces you can wear whenever you don’t know what to wear because you don’t have to add any other clothes or a lot of accessories.

That day I was accredited for four shows, I had three events and two parties. I didn’t make it to the shows as I spent more time than expected at the events. But to be honest, those are more important to me as I get to talk to other bloggers as well as brands and PR people. When I go to the shows, all I do is waiting for the show to begin, see the show and leave. I usually don’t get to talk to others; it’s just a “hello” and “bye”. One of the highlights of the day was that I got to see friends from Munich. That’s another reason why I skipped one of the shows. We had only this one timeframe to meet up and eat something, and I decided that it is more important than rushing to just another show. What would you do? Going to see the show or staying at the events and meeting up with friends?

Why comfort is king

No, my outfits are not very fashionable or attractive to streetstyle photographers. But that doesn’t mean, that they don’t look nice. I am the kind of person who prefers comfortable looks because these are the ones I feel most comfortable in. Also, I would never survive an entire day during Fashion Week wearing something super fancy and fashionable. And I probably wouldn’t enjoy wearing it, and people would notice. That’s why comfort is king and why I don’t care about all the current trends and streetstyle photography.
