Culottes? Yes, please!

As I already told you yesterday, I’m sharing my first outfit wearing culottes today. First I wasn’t sure about this trend; I thought this kind of pants wouldn’t suit me. But I saw so many beautiful looks, I just had to buy a pair myself. It took me a while to find culottes I actually liked, the style as well as the price. 😉 I found these on sale; they’re from 2ND DAY. Let me know what you think:

Trend Watch: Culottes

You won’t get around culottes this season because it’s one of the biggest trends at the moment. They’re the perfect transitional pants for the unpredictable fall weather. The voluminous cut makes the culottes one of the most comfortable pants ever and offers a lot of different combination possibilities. But not only the cut but also the different styles – they all have different lengths, colours as well as fabrics – makes it possible to wear culottes in many different ways. Here is my first combination:

How to wear Culottes

For the first outfit wearing culottes, I opted for a chic yet simple outfit. That’s why I combined them with one of my white shirts as well as black high heels and a statement necklace. I already have a lot of other ideas in mind, e.g. a combination with sneaker or boots. I never thought I would like to wear this kind of pants, and I never thought I would have more than one possible combination in mind. x) BUT every time I buy a new garment I think about different combinations, and I only buy it, when I find at least three.
