Friday again, so the weekend isn’t just a few hours away. 🙂 I’m sitting at the office and planning our trip to Stockholm next week – we still need to book a flight and find an accommodation. If you have any recommendations and know where we could stay from the 24th to the 26th of August, PLEASE let me know. And while I’m planning next week AND working on other stuff, you can enjoy this outfit I wore last Sunday on a beautiful day in Berlin:

How to give your kimono a different look

This post isn’t only about the look itself, but also about how to give your kimono a different look. I already shared a different way to wear a kimono in this post with you the other day and today it’s time for another way to give your kimono a new look. 🙂 This time I wasn’t wearing a long kimono, I chose a short one and wore it as a cropped top. There are so many details I like about this look: the low-cut back, the asymmetric style – the front short, the back long – and last but not least the knotted front. It’s quite simple but makes such a big change. If you want to know, how exactly I changed the kimono into a top, make sure to visit my Facebook page. You can find the video tutorial here.

The key garment of this look is the kimono – obviously! That’s why I kept the rest of the outfit very simple: black shorts, black boots and a black bandeau because the knotted front was a bit too short to wear this look without a bandeau. 😉 Please let me know what you think about it and if you like this way to wear a kimono! xx
