After sharing all the NYE outfit inspirations I prepared for you, it is time to talk about New Year’s resolutions. We all make them even though we usually don’t really stick to them, am I right?! There are things you can do to make sure you will stick to your resolutions, but that’s not what I want to talk about today. Today I want to give you some ideas four your New Year’s resolutions that are everything but common. This post won’t be about those “I want to eat healthier” and “I want to go to the gym more often” kind of resolutions because they are super boring. The resolutions ideas I am sharing with you today about risking something, trying new things and living life to the fullest.
Life is too short for boring New Year’s resolutions! So find some more fun resolutions in the following:
- Play tourist for one day in your hometown.
- Go skydiving.
- Go for a swim in the Dead Sea.
- Write a letter to your future self, put it in a time capsule and bury it.
- Spend a romantic night under the starry sky for one night with your boyfriend/ girlfriend.
- Grow your own vegetables and/or herbls at home.
- Take an active part in a demonstration.
- Explore Rome by scooter.
- Say “yes” to everything for a day.
- Pay somebody you don’t know a compliment.
Guys, I have so many more ideas for your New Year’s resolutions, so these are only a few to give you an idea of what I am talking about. These are for sure not so common resolutions, some might scare you, some might sound stupid and not possible at all, but in the end, everything is possible. And I know that you will have a lot of fun when doing the things I just wrote down. Don’t be afraid of new things and don’t say, that something isn’t possible. Overcome your fears and just live your life to the fullest! You have only one chance to live in 2018, use this chance and make it your year! It often is worth taking a risk, and you can’t experience anything new when you are not doing something you haven’t done before or going somewhere you haven’t been before.
Have you already written down some New Year’s resolutions for 2018? If so, what is on your list? I would love to read some more ideas I could add to my list 🙂 So don’t hesitate to share your resolutions and your ideas with me in a comment. xx
