Being positive isn’t always easy, but it is very important. Being positive is not only important for people around but also for yourself. Maybe it’s even more important for yourself than for others! Sometimes it’s hard to be positive, especially when we’re unhappy or unsatisfied when things aren’t going the way we want them to. In these situations, it’s even more important to be and think positive. If you wonder how to be positive every day and especially in situations you don’t feel like being positive, here is how:

1. Try to substitute your negative thoughts and feelings with positive ones by thinking about things you like a lot or doing something that always makes you happy.
2. Focus on yourself, don’t let others bring you down!
3. Don’t overthink!
4. Smile at the little things and don’t wait for big moments to happen. Don’t spend your time waiting for the weekend, when you can use your time during the week for great and positive things as well.
5. You might have heard it a lot, but try to look for the good in every ever so unpleasant situation. Because there’s always something food or at least useful to learn to find!
6. Last but not least: ALWAYS try to think positive. Don’t say “I don’t want it to rain”, say “I want it to be sunny” instead. There are always to ways to think about things, one negative and one positive. When you think in a positive way, positive things will happen to you!
