A new week calls for a new outfit. It’s getting colder in Berlin; autumn arrived, and I’m already missing summer a lot. Autumn and winter have always been the seasons I like least. Not because I don’t like this seasons clothes, but because I’m always freezing, and I hate freezing. I have a lot of outfits in mind I would love to wear right know, but they’re spring or summer outfits. Anyways, I’m trying my best by layering my clothes, so here is one of those layering outfits:

Let the Layering Game begin

Autumn and winter time is layering time. The best thing you can do to avoid freezing is layering your clothes. But the layering game can be a little bit tricky. It can be tricky if you want to create a fashionable and chic outfit and not only one that keeps you warm 😉 Layering is easy if you don’t care what the result looks like, but it’s not when you do care. In this case, I worked with different lengths and added high heels to make sure my legs doesn’t look short. I combined my new long vest from Selected Femme with a black long-shirt as well as black jeans – that’s why this post is called “Black Layers” 😉

Let’s be honest, bare arms on an autumn day are not the best idea. Of course, I was freezing most of the time, so I decided to add a grey cardigan. You can’t see it in the pictures, but I just wanted to let you know, that this is something that works as well. The cardigan I chose is shorter than the vest – you see, the clothes you layer can have different lengths.

How do you get dressed for autumn days and what do you think about layering? Do you have any tips and tricks? 🙂
