Vero Moda dress

Fashion Week is over, and I am back to my everyday life at the office. You might have noticed, that it was quite calm here on the blog the past days. Due to Fashion Week, I didn’t have the time to write any blog posts and the ones I published past week were all pre-scheduled ones. I didn’t even have the time to write my weekly recap as I usually do on Sundays.

Like every season, I was quite happy when it was finally over, but at the same time, I was quite sad. This season I finally managed to set a not too tight schedule and had less stress than the seasons before. On Monday and Tuesday, I still had enough time to get work done at the office in between meetings and events and from Wednesday to Friday I spend most of the time backstage together with Wella Professionals. Of course, the first two days were a little bit stressful due to all the traffic in Berlin, but I didn’t have to rush from one event to the next one. I had enough time to drive back to the office, to work and to eat in between. And even Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were quite calm even though they all were very long days. I got up at 6.30 am every morning and were back home around 10 pm, got changed and went to after show parties. But the parties actually weren’t worth the rush… I really like meeting people I like, but if you meet new people it usually is smattering small talk only, and that is very tiring. That’s one of the main reasons why I was happy when fashion week in Berlin was over 😉 Of course, I also had a lot of fun and a very good time in general. I laughed a lot backstage with the Wella Professionals team as well as bloggers such as Marie (Glitter Everywhere) and Storm (Storm Wes).

I won’t tell you that much about Fashion Week today; it actually isn’t that interesting I guess. But I will share a huge post with lots of backstage content on Friday, so stay tuned. I will also tell you a little bit more about what I was doing the days when sharing my Fashion Week outfits, but there won’t be a separate post about the events and shows. Today I will start sharing Fashion Week related content with the outfit I was wearing on day one.

Black Dress and Brown Boots

The first day of Fashion Week (last Monday), was a very calm day. I actually was invited to three different blogger events, but in the end, I went to two only due to all the work I wanted to get done. We went to the Hashmag Blogger Prize in the evening but had to leave before the prize-giving because it was a little bit delayed and we had to head to the next event: the Coca-Cola party. The party was a lot of fun, and I was happy we decided to go there – we usually don’t go to a lot of fashion week parties… but this one was a lot of fun.

The outfit you can see here isn’t the look I was wearing to the events of Berlin Fashion Week day one, but it was the one I was wearing throughout the day. I kept it very simple this first day of fashion week and was dressed in a black dress, black cardigan add brown boots. The brown boots are actually the key piece of this outfit, that’s why I kept the rest of the look quite simple. I just added some pieces of jewellery as well as my western belt to match the boots, and that’s it. How do you like this outfit?
